Magnesium Oil and Sand Fly Bites at Lake Hauroko

We were warned about the sandflies at Lake Hauroko. I came armed with some ancient minerals magnesium oil our popular magnesium chloride oil product. The morning was perfect for them, Overcast skies, no wind and threatening to rain.

We had all applied our favourite insect repellents but soon the sandflies were swarming and biting and I also applied some magnesium oil. Once in the boat and on the move the problem went away. The thrilling ride down the Wairauraherere river in a jet boat ended 40kms down stream with more swarming sandflies.

Soon people in our party started complaining so I handed round a sample of the product. It was amazing how quickly the discomfort settled and as usual people were amazed with the product. I had run out of magnesium gel samples earlier in the trip but the product did the trick.
