How do I use magnesium oil?

We have put together an infographic to walk you through the steps.

Ancient Minerals Magnesium Oil

  • You can apply magnesium oil to the skin with the use of a fine mist spray bottle.
  • Place  1-3 sprays into a cupped hand. Then rub into the skin thoroughly. The longer you rub and massage, the better the absorption.
  • You can apply it directly to key areas so it acts like a masseur in a bottle.  Apply it to your arms, legs, stomach, back or wherever you have muscle pain or soreness.

If there is irritation: As first time user, you may feel uncomfortable with slight skin irritation. Feeling a mild sting is normal. But if this bothers you, you can dilute your magnesium oil with 1 part water to make a 50% strength solution.

You may also notice a slight salt-like mineral residue after the solution dries. No need to panic; this is normal, especially if you live in dry climates or heated indoor areas.  Again, if this bothers you, you can apply it 20 minutes before showering. This is enough time for majority of magnesium ions to be absorbed.  You may also remove the residue by wiping it off with a damp washcloth. Try it after your next sweat session. Simply spritz on magnesium oil before showering and you get an instant boost of support for your magnesium levels.
