Betadine Antiseptic Liquid 100ml
Our children are prone to getting cuts and wounds, no matter how much we protect them. They get them from playing, creating things and exploring the world around them. But sometimes the products we put on their cuts and abrasions hurt more than the wound itself! Betadine Antiseptic Liquid is different. It is a potent antiseptic yet gentle enough not to sting. It kills bacteria, viruses and fungi upon contact so it protects wounds from getting more serious infections. And you don't have to worry about staining your clothes because it washes off easily.

Active Ingredients:
Betadine Antiseptic Liquid contains 10% Povidone-Iodine. Equiv to 1% w/w available Iodine.
How to use this product?
Cuts and Wounds
- After washing the wound area, immediately apply some Betadine Antiseptic Liquid directly to the affected area 2 to 3 times daily. You can use a cotton pad for this.
- It is best used undiluted.
- You may also cover it with bandage, gauze or adhesive dressing for added protection.
Minor Burns
Immediately submerge burns in cold water for 10-20 minutes. This will stop burning process. Then directly apply Betadine Antiseptic Liquidon burned skin.
For red or blistered burns, cover with a non stick sterile dressing and immediately see a doctor.
Blisters
Broken blisters are specially prone to infection. But even unbroken blisters also need the same kind of attention. Apply Betadine Antiseptic Liquid to cleanse and disinfect affected area as well as surrounding areas. Then cover with a non-stick dressing and secure in place using adhesive strapping. If blister is just small, cover with a small adhesive dressing.
Tinea (Athletes Foot)
At the first sign of itching, reddening or peeling apply Betadine Antiseptic Liquid. Repeat application 3 or 4 times a day.
Paronychia (Infected skin around the nails)
The inflammation involving the folds of tissue around the fingernail is called Paronychia. At the first sign of infection apply Betadine Antiseptic Liquid liberally to the affected area. Repeat application 3 or 4 times daily. Keep the affected area as dry as possible.
Ringworm
This generally appears on other parts of the body other than the feet. Should be treated exactly like you treat any tinea infection. However, if the infection affects the head area it might require special treatment. It might be best to seek medical advice.
Are there any Warnings and Precautions?
Do not use if hypersensitive to iodine. If you experience any form of irritation, redness or swelling, please discontinue treatment and consult a doctor. Do not mix with detergents or other chemicals. Keep it away from the reach and sight of children. Store it in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight.
