Itching is a common reaction towards skin irritation. When our children have allergies, chicken pox, insect bites or stings their initial reaction is to scratch. But this often leads to secondary infections. This can be avoided if you apply a medicated cream that helps soothe the itching. Itch-Soothe Cream helps to soothe various forms of itching, those that are associated with allergies, chicken pox, insect bites and stings. This will prevent further irritation and breaking of the skin as a result of scratching. This therefore reduces the risk of secondary infection. Itch-Soothe may also be used for the treatment of scabies.

Product Ingredients:
Active Ingredients: Crotamiton 10%(100mg/g.)
Also contains propyl paraben methyl paraben, glycerine, celearyl alcohol and PEG-20 stearate,acrylic acid polymer, triethanolamine and water.
How to use to get best results?
For itching: Adults may apply a small amount of Itch-Soothe to the affected area. Do this 2-3 times everyday, until itching subsides. If you continue to experience itching after 5 days of using this product, you must consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
For scabies: Adults are advised to take a warm bath and dry the skin. Rub Itch-Soothe Cream into the entire body surface (excluding the face and scalp) until no traces of the preparation remain visible on the surface. Repeat this application once daily, preferably in the evening, for a total of 3-5 days. Pay particular attention to sites that are susceptible to infestation by the mites (eg. the areas between the fingers and toes, wrists, the armpits and genitals). Areas where there is pus formation, should be covered with a dressing impregnated with Itch-Soothe. While the treatment is in progress, you may take a bath before the next application. After completion of the treatment, a cleansing bath should be taken followed by a change of bed linen and clothing.
For children older than 3 years old, the same dosage as for adults may be applied.
For children 3 years old and below, dosage must be reduced to once a day.
